75 Year Celebration!

November 2, 2025

By God’s grace, our church is celebrating 75 years of God’s faithfulness this year. There will be multiple times of celebration that will culminate with an incredible day of worship and celebration on November 2. Mark your calendars now. It will be an amazing day!

Baptism Sunday

As we make Jesus known, together, nothing would be greater than to celebrate baptisms on November 2, as we celebrate 75 years of faithful ministry at Southside!

If you have trusted Jesus as Savior and Lord but have not been baptized, now is the time to take the next step of baptism. Fall Festival

This year our Fall Festival will be held outdoors. If you are interested in volunteering for our largest outreach event, please sign up below.

We are collecting individually wrapped candy for our Fall Festival.

Weekly

Join us for Connection Groups (for all ages) at 9:15 AM.

Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with a Nursery offered for Infants – 3k and Children’s Worship for 4k – 3rd Grade.

Wednesdays @ Southside

Life can be hard, and one of the best ways to live joyfully, within this difficult reality, is by growing in God’s Word and in relationships with others.

Midweek Refresh’s goal is discipleship. We want to experience spiritual transformation in all ages. There will be gender specific groups, men discipling men and women discipling women, and groups for students (6th- 12th grade) and children (nursery-5th grade).

Discipleship transforms our lives, come be a part of Midweek Refresh!

New Members Class

Interested in becoming a member at Southside?

The Southside New Member class will teach you how to join God and His people in the mission of this local church, while also teaching you and your family the specific vision and culture of Southside and how you can become a part of the TOGETHER.

Join Ronnie Herring on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 10:30 AM in the Sanctuary Lobby for an hour focused on encouraging church members with cards, phone calls, and personal visits.

Southside Food Pantry

Each month we gather goods for our food pantry. For October, we are collecting canned chicken. You can leave it at the Welcome Center.

Operation Christmas Child 2025

Each month, we gather goods for Operation Christmas Child. In the month of October, we are accepting monetary donations to help with the cost of shipping.

Southside Children Opportunities

AWANA

AWANA @ Southside will begin on Sunday Afternoon, August 3, and run throughout the school year! Cost is $30 per child for the year, and registration is required. Please follow the link below to Register your child AND Pay all in one place!

Children’s Choir

Does your child love to sing? Have them come to our Children’s Choir beginning September 14th at 5:10 PM. This is for children in 1st – 5th grade currently, Preschoolers (4k) may join beginning October 12th.

The Children’s Choir will be singing along side Youth and Adult Choir during a special Sunday Morning Christmas Worship Service.

Kids Night Out

Join us for Kids Night Out on

Friday, October 17 from 6-9pm. This event is for babies through 5th grade. If you are interested, please register below, no later than October 13.

Southside Men’s & Women’s Ministry Opportunities

Men’s Ministry Event

Men! We are pumped for this night! We are going to breathe fresh air, eat meat off of a grill, throw worms in water, maybe smell some gun powder, and most importantly, hang out with each other.

Bring some fishing poles if you’d like. Bring a buddy. Dads bring your sons. Oh, and bring an appetite!

Men’s & Women’s Breakfast

On the 1st Monday and the 3rd Saturday of each month, men get together at Long Grain Cafe to enjoy food and fellowship. The women meet monthly on the 1st Tuesday at Long Grain Cafe. These events era open to anyone who would like to join. This is a great opportunity to enjoy breakfast with friends or to get to know some fellow parishioners that you may not have met yet.
