3rd Annual Jim Coker Golf Tournament

Our church is hosting the 3rd Annual Jim Coker Golf Missions Tournament at Traces Golf Course, on Saturday September 19th. The tournament will raise funds to support Southside Missions, Kids, and Student Ministries. We appreciate your prayers as we host this year’s golf tournament.

Family Night

Come enjoy fellowship and great food. Family Night is a fun time together to fellowship with one another and enjoy a family style meal. This is an evening the is always filled with laughter, great conversations and amazing food.

Family Day

Join us on October 18th for our traditional Family Day. Invite friends and family. Enjoy a time of remembering days gone by, laughter, fellowship, and as always, amazing food. Food will be served following our second service.

Candy Collection Time!

It’s that time again! We need candy, and lots of it! Please bring individually wrapped candies to the collection area in the church foyer.

Fall Festival

Our annual Fall Festival is nearly here. Last year we had nearly 2500 hundred families on our church campus. This is an amazing opportunity for us to show our love of our community and to share the gospel. Please register and help us make this our best Fall Festival EVER!

Service Schedule

Join us for Connection Groups (for all ages) at 9:55 AM.

Worship begins at 8:30 AM, and at 10:55 AM, with a Nursery offered for Infants – 3k and Children’s Worship for 4k – 3rd Grade during both services.

Belong

If you have been at Southside for a few weeks, few months, or even longer and you’re ready to belong to the family at Southside, this class is for you! Register on the app!

Better Together

Join us in the foyer every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. We get together to write cards, call people, and go visiting. Please reach out to the office if you have any questions.

Threads of Love

Meet in room F114 on the first Sunday of each month at 3:00pm, to get together and fellowship while knitting prayer blankets. These blankets are used for baptisms, graduates, child dedications, and people who need to be wrapped in love.

Midweek at Southside

Midweek at Southside will be an amazing series of Bible studies for adults and teens. Each series is 3-4 weeks long with a break in between and a Family Night to kick-off the next Bible study. These Bible studies will be on topics that pertain to our daily lives.

Southside Food Pantry

Each month we gather nonperishable goods for our food pantry. For the month of September, we are collecting cans of Vienna Sausage. You can leave the items at the Welcome Center.

Volunteers Needed

Foster Care Clothing Closet

This is an amazing non-profit program that was started in the Fall of 2015 to help meet the needs in the foster community. They are currently looking for volunteers to help with an assortment of projects such as story time with kids, yard work, and maintenance. The biggest need they have at the moment is finding volunteers to sort through the donations of children’s clothing and various items that they may receive. Sunday Night Students

Will start on August 9th @ 5:30pm. This is an amazing time for students to gather together in worship, bible study and fellowship.

New Student Series

Students will begin a new series called Doubt: A Series For The Questions We All Face, beginning on August 9th in the Student Center at 5:30pm.

Southside Men’s & Women’s Ministry Opportunities

Men’s & Women’s Breakfast

On the 1st Monday of each month, men meet at Venus to enjoy food and fellowship.

The women meet monthly on the 1st Tuesday, at Long Grain Cafe. These events are open to anyone who would like to join.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy breakfast with friends or to get to know some fellow parishioners that you may not have met yet.

Men’s Bible Study

Are you looking for a next step with Jesus?

Are you desiring to grow deeper in your walk with Christ?

Are you desiring a deeper community of brothers with whom you can walk?

Join us at 6am, starting on Wednesday August 19, for an 8 week Bible Study delving into James and faith that works in real life.

We’ll have hot coffee.

Bring a copy of God’s Word.

And it would be really cool if you bring your son(s) and friends.

Come join us on Wednesdays at 10:30 AM in room F110 for our Senior Ministry Series, Spiritual Warfare, as we seek to know God and make Him known, TOGETHER. This is a weekly time of intentional fellowship, worship and bible study.
