WELCOME TO “THE HUB”

At Southside, we believe that God has called us to experience life together as we seek to know God and make Jesus known.

Knowing what is happening and how you can be a part is an integral part of your journey with God and your faith family here at Southside.  Here at “THE HUB,” you will be kept up to date with any new information regarding the church, along with all the events that are happening.

Stewardship
Finances are hard.  They can be overwhelming and create strife in our own life and in the life of our family.  What if there were solutions to God-honoring and life-giving ways to steward our finances?  Join Pastor Joshua  and Rev. Barry Lawson as they use Randy Alcorn’s, The Treasure Principle, to teach how God is honored and freedom is experienced through trusting God’s principles for financial stewardship by treasuring what is good and right on this earth.  Join us on Sunday nights, beginning on January 11, from 5:45-7pm, in the Loft.  Greeters will help you find the location!  See you there!

Wednesdays @ Southside
Life can be hard, and one of the best ways to live joyfully, within this  difficult reality, is by growing in God’s Word and in relationships with  others.

Midweek Refresh’s goal is discipleship.  We want to experience spiritual transformation in all ages.  There will be gender specific groups, men discipling men and women discipling women, and groups for students (6th- 12th grade) and children (nursery-5th grade).

Discipleship transforms our lives, come be a part of Midweek Refresh!

Volunteers Needed
Foster Care Clothing Closet
This is an amazing non-profit program that was started in the Fall of 2015 to help meet the needs in the foster community.  They are currently looking for volunteers to help with an assortment of projects such as story time with kids, yard work, and maintenance.  The biggest need they have at the moment is finding volunteers to sort through the donations of children’s clothing and various items that they may receive.  If you are interested in helping out or would just like to learn more about Foster Care Clothing Closet, click below.

Are you excited to tell other’s about Jesus, but sometimes, you’re not too sure how to bridge the gap from every day conversation to a Gospel conversation?

Men and women will learn together and encourage one another on this night to be bold in our faith and to have a plan to intentionally share Jesus with others as we live each day.  Having a plan and walking in faith could change the eternal destiny of a person.

Join us on the mission to know God and making Jesus known, together, through our commitment to tell others about Jesus.
