By God’s grace, our church is celebrating 75 years of God’s faithfulness this year. There will be multiple times of celebration that will culminate with an incredible day of worship and celebration on November 2. Mark your calendars now. It will be an amazing day!

Baptism Sunday

As we make Jesus known, together, nothing would be greater than to celebrate baptisms on November 2, as we celebrate 75 years of faithful ministry at Southside!

If you have trusted Jesus as Savior and Lord but have not been baptized, now is the time to take the next step of baptism. Churchwide Budget Discussion

If you would like to learn more about the financial aspects of our church, please join us on November 23rd at 3:30pm in the Worship Center. This is open to all church members.

Join us for Connection Groups (for all ages) at 9:15 AM.

Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with a Nursery offered for Infants – 3k and Children’s Worship for 4k – 3rd Grade.

Wednesdays @ Southside

Life can be hard, and one of the best ways to live joyfully, within this difficult reality, is by growing in God’s Word and in relationships with others.

Midweek Refresh’s goal is discipleship. We want to experience spiritual transformation in all ages. There will be gender specific groups, men discipling men and women discipling women, and groups for students (6th- 12th grade) and children (nursery-5th grade).

Join Ronnie Herring on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 10:30 AM in the Sanctuary Lobby for an hour focused on encouraging church members with cards, phone calls, and personal visits.

Acts 1:8 Team – Missions Opportunities

Southside Food Pantry

Each month we gather goods for our food pantry. For October, we are collecting canned chicken. You can leave it at the Welcome Center.

Operation Christmas Child 2025

Each month, we gather goods for Operation Christmas Child. In the month of October, we are accepting monetary donations to help with the cost of shipping.

Pecan Festival

This year we have been blessed with the opportunity to have a table at the annual Pecan Festival. We are planning on having Crafts for Kids, “Ask A Pastor”, and to have people from our church pray with and love on our community. This event is on Saturday, November 1st and lasts from 10am-7pm. We are asking for volunteers to help fill in throughout the day. If you are feeling called to help out , please register below. This is an AMAZING opportunity for Florence to get to know Southside Baptist Church. Together, we can spread the gospel!

AWANA

AWANA @ Southside will begin on Sunday Afternoon, August 3, and run throughout the school year! Cost is $30 per child for the year, and registration is required. Please follow the link below to Register your child AND Pay all in one place!

Children’s Choir

Does your child love to sing? Have them come to our Children’s Choir beginning September 14th at 5:10 PM. This is for children in 1st – 5th grade currently, Preschoolers (4k) may join beginning October 12th.

The Children’s Choir will be singing along side Youth and Adult Choir during a special Sunday Morning Christmas Worship Service.

Southside Men’s & Women’s Ministry Opportunities

Home for the Holidays

Home for the Holidays is a special women’s event filled with worship, fellowship, and joy as we kick off the holiday season together! You can choose to host and decorate a table or enjoy the evening at a general admission table. It’s a wonderful opportunity to gather with other women, celebrate the season, and prepare our hearts for Christmas.

If you’re interested in hosting or attending, please call the church office at 843-669-7288 and we will put you in contact with a member of the Women’s Ministry Team.

Men’s & Women’s Breakfast

On the 1st Monday and the 3rd Saturday of each month, men get together at Long Grain Cafe to enjoy food and fellowship. The women meet monthly on the 1st Tuesday at Long Grain Cafe. These events era open to anyone who would like to join. This is a great opportunity to enjoy breakfast with friends or to get to know some fellow parishioners that you may not have met yet.

Senior Ministry Fall Series

Come join us on Wednesdays at 10:30 AM in room F110 for our Senior Ministry Fall Series, as we seek to know God and make Him known, TOGETHER. This is a weekly time of intentional fellowship, worship and bible study.

Senior Adults Fish Fry

This is going to be an afternoon of fun and fellowship. If you are interested in attending, please register below so the cooks can plan accordingly.
