Our goal is make church a safe and nurturing environment where children are accepted and loved. We want to guide children to a knowledge and understanding of who Jesus is, to lead them toward a relationship with God, and to learn how to live for Jesus in their daily lives.

Kids Check In
Security is a top priority here at Southside. For that reason, children infant through 5th grade must be checked in each time they are left in our care. If your child is staying with you during Sunday worship, there is no need to check them in. Kids Check In is located in the Welcome Center foyer and in the breezeway outside of the Nursery. If it’s your first time with us, we are happy to assist you with check in. Each child receives a printed sticker with their name, any allergies, and a unique code; their parents also receive a separate sticker with the child’s name and matching code. The matching parents’ sticker must be presented to a Kids Church or Nursery attendant in order to pick up a child after service.
Kids Church
Kids Church is for Kindergarten through 5th grade students and meets at 11:15am in Room F110-112 located down the hallway to the left of the Welcome Center/Info Table.
Babies and toddlers will be cared for in the nursery after being checked in either in the Welcome Center or at the Self Check In Station.
Awana clubs for children 2 years of age through 5th grade are available on Sunday evenings during the school year from 5:30-7:00pm. Please visit our Awana page for more information or to register your child(ren).
Connection Groups
Age graded groups are offered for students in Preschool – 5th grades at 10:15am on Sunday mornings in the Kids Building and in The Loft.
Our students are taught from The Gospel Project curriculum. We seek to engage, impart and impact our students through this time of teaching.
