What to Expect

People have a lot of opinions about what church is all about. We make it really simple – we are all about Jesus. Whether you have been a follower of Jesus for years or are investigating Him for the first time, Southside is the place for you. Our hope is that through everything we do you’ll be drawn to Jesus!
Visit us this weekend and experience Southside for yourself.

What kind of attire am I supposed to wear?

A lot of people will wear anything as casual as jeans to something as formal as a suit. However, there is no set dress code! We want you to come in whatever you’re most comfortable wearing.

What is the service like?

10:30 am Worship Service is led by worship leader Kipp Gray. It is a service with modern worship songs led by our band and praise team, along with our Southside Celebration Choir, which sings bi-weekly.

The goal of gathered worship is to glorify the God of Heaven through the unified body of Christ. Allow the Spirit to lead you and know that all orderly expressions of worship are welcome. Our service seeks to connect people with a holy God, magnify the name of Jesus, and find power and direction in the Holy Spirit. The truth of Scripture is the center of our worship, and the preaching is expositional.

Is childcare provided?

Childcare and Kids Church are provided during our 10:30 AM Worship Service for infants, toddlers, and children up to 3rd grade.

Kids Check-in is in the foyer. If you have any questions or require assistance, our greeters are happy to assist you!

Do you recognize guests int the service?

At Southside we won’t single you out! We’d love for you to stop by our Information Desk, though, and pick up your free gift for being our guest. There are connection cards available within the worship service for you to complete and return at the Information Desk in the foyer or place in the offering plate as it is passed.

Our pastors would love to meet you, so stick around after the service and please approach any and all of them to introduce yourself and your family! One of our greatest desires is to serve you, and this starts with a simple welcome. Thank you for you joining us, and we look forward to you and your family joining us TOGETHER ON MISSION!
